Hastings electorate: community meeting

07-December-2011

Mr BURGESS -- On Monday, 29 November, I held a law and order community meeting at the Blind Bight community centre for residents of the coastal villages in the Hastings electorate. A broad range of issues was discussed, including vandalism, graffiti and the illegal use of a variety of motorised bikes on walking tracks, Crown land and other public and private areas. Two senior Cranbourne police officers, Acting Senior Sergeant Scott Roberts and Senior Sergeant Andrew Horscroft, attended. They listened carefully and provided community members with valuable advice. I look forward to continuing to work with the community and our local police officers to address law and order concerns.
