Easing of Restrictions from 8 November 2020

Some of Today’s Announcements:

  • 25km travel limit removed
  • Intrastate travel: no change
  • Households can receive up to 2 adult visitors, plus dependents per day
  • Public places: no change (up to 10 people)
  • Face coverings: no change

 

From 11.59 Sunday, 8 November 2020:

  • Cafes, restaurants and pubs increased limits (outdoors up to 70, indoors up to 40)
  • Indoor fitness, including gyms and classes can reopen
  • Non-contact indoor physical recreation allowed for <18 year olds
  • Live music allowed but must be 5m from audience
  • Faith communities outdoor religious ceremonies with up to 50 people / indoor services can be held with up to 20 people
  • Funerals will increase up to 20 people indoors and up to 50 people outdoors
  • Electronic gaming is permitted with a maximum of 10 people in gaming rooms
  • Cinemas, galleries and museums can open with up to 20 people per space.
