Warringine Park

Bittern Coastal Wetlands Walk: start from the small carpark opposite 40 Salmon Street, Hastings and follow the boardwalk through to Jacks Beach car park off Lynch Road, Crib Point. This walk forms part of the much longer Westernport Bay Trail.
Ted Harris Walk: start at 2230 Frankston-Flinders Road and wind your way along the creek section of Warringine Park finishing at Kinfauns Lane or Hendersons Road.

- Salt marshes so special the coastal area is classified by the National Trust
- Geological formations and flora communities so significant they are listed on the Register of the National Estate: A bird watchers paradise with over 110 bird species including the endangered Great Egret and Lewin’s Rail. A haven for other native fauna species including the threatened Swamp Skink and Southern Brown Bandicoot.
- Vegetation communities that include open woodland, coastal heathland, paperbark scrub, saltmarsh and one of the southernmost stands of mangroves in the world
